Mix the Rainbow

This music maker by Agency.com is making me snack-happy. Is there a rainbow around here?

Infatables.

GOOD street art is a rare sight in here in Edmonton. We have the "listen" bird and a couple of other genius-like taggers (who usually refer to moms, sluts, gays, 4:20, cronic or blunts). Sometimes we even have the odd shopping cart or Sun Newspaper box artistically thrown on top of bus shelter - that just takes my breath away... But what I really want to see here one day is something even remotely as awesome as this:

Please?

Make it pretty.

Allthough I am yet to be a proud owner of an iphone, I can still dream about it, right? Check out these gelskins for the iphone, your ibook and other digi-gear.

My potential iphone skin would be.....
my girl, Tara McPherson of course!

More Gelaskins here.

Squeakytime.

Now, since most racy commercials are only in seen in Europe, and then subsequentially banned, here's a Durex ad that was straight to WWW. This newish "balloon" commercial is truley a piece of viral marketing genius!

Buraka Som Sistema!

Here's a new one for my ipod!

The boys of Barakas - AKA Lil' John, Riot and Conductor - have been playing in Lisbon clubs since the late 90's and are now touring the world with the release of their new Black Diamond ep. Taking the beats of Angolan Kudro music and melding it with 21st century electronics, they've created a whole new sound - complete with guest vocals from including guest vocals from Petty, M.I.A., Pongolove, Kalaf, Nolay and DJ Znobia. Their electro ghettotech take their favourite South West African music is definitely danceable in my books. Their music videos are pretty rad too.
